Train for the demands of football
Strength training for footballers is about far more than lifting weights and hoping for the best. We build football-specific sessions that help you move quicker, stay stronger in challenges, and keep your levels up deep into a match. At Strong Coaching Academy, we focus on speed, acceleration, power, mobility, and core development in a way that makes sense for your position and stage of development.
That matters when you want sharper turns, stronger sprints, and better control when the game gets scrappy. We work with youth players aged 7 and above, adults, and those playing at a semi-professional or professional level. Every football training session is shaped around improving your on-pitch performance, not just giving you a hard session for the sake of it.

Built around how you play
Your starting point matters, which is why we begin with an individual fitness assessment before planning your work. We look at how you move, where you need more strength, and what may be holding back your speed or balance. From there, we create bespoke programmes that can support injury prevention, improve flexibility, and build the kind of endurance football keeps asking for. Some players need more explosiveness over five yards. Others need better movement quality to cope with repeated training and matches.
Why this kind of training matters
Better physical preparation can change the small moments that decide games. A quicker first step helps you reach loose balls sooner, while stronger balance can help you stay composed under pressure. With regular work, you can also recover movement patterns that support safer training and more confident performances. Alongside our coaching, you can explore our merchandise, including football kits, training wear, and academy apparel designed for players and supporters.
